SAI : Starry Sky Tutorial by uchuubranko SAI : Starry Sky Tutorial by uchuubranko
I'm so sorry for my Engurishuuu really omg :iconomgcryplz:
I'm definitely not good at explaining things :iconcryforeverplz: but still I hope it helps somehow....:iconoelplz:
- Feel free to ask questions! :happybounce: I'll do my best in answering what I know.
- It's not a tutorial suited for beginners with SAI, but if you still want to try, I suggest to search first a tutorial that explains the SAI TOOLS well such as :
- I'm just showing the way I draw stars in SAI, there sure are more ways, and you're not obligated to follow it strictly! *U*
- I'd appreciate linking back something you drew using this tutorial, but it's not obligatory. :thanks::heart:

I'm sorry for that ugly star appearing there and there, I had to draw it. I HAD TO. :iconpapmingplz:

thanks so much for looking!:love:

try airbrushing with orange over a blue in a normal layer, then try the same thing with the same colour (orange) on a luminosity layer. :w00t:
The difference is that pixels become more radiant and rough in luminosity, no matter what colour you use. Even when you use black on luminosity, nothing will appear because it's the darkest colour, it's somehow being nullified.
I'm using this layer because the stars (dots) are 99% white, bright and strong, and is especially good when you transform because you lose pixel quality. The normal layer stars lose quality quickly, won't be as sharp and white as in lumin.
Hope it helps a bit :ashamed:

Thanks for the tutorial, but I have a question, how exactly did you get your stars, as in the shining ones, to illuminate like that, I tried practically everything to get that to work for me and it wouldn't go.
